Physical Therapist

physical therapist

The goal of our physical therapist is to help patients achieve their highest level of physical functioning. Because hemophilia affects muscles and joints, which can severely impact quality of life, the physical therapist works closely with hemophilia patients. The physical therapist helps patients recover from injuries, surgeries and bleeding episodes and advises them about changes they can make in their daily lives. She also provides counseling on recreational and athletic activities to allow patients to participate with the least amount of difficulty and risk of injury.
