Clinics

In order to deliver optimal care to our patients, the IHTC conducts a variety of clinics. These clinics include comprehensive clinic offered twice monthly at the IHTC in Indianapolis and outreach clinics that travel to six locations throughout Indiana. Both the comprehensive and outreach clinics are multidisciplinary in nature. Evaluative services are provided by IHTC adult and pediatric hematologists, treatment nurses and medical professionals from the fields of physical therapy, dentistry, nutrition, social work, genetics and pharmacy.

Specialty clinics offered at the center include the Immune Tolerance Clinic (for hemophilia patients with inhibitors), Prophylaxis Clinic (joint disease prevention for hemophilia patients), Anticoagulation Clinic (for thrombosis patients), Hepatitis C Clinic and Sickle Cell Clinic. To meet our patients’ diverse needs for specialty care, more clinics are being planned, including a clinic for women with bleeding disorders.
