Information and Resources
The IHTC Information and Resource Center is an online repository of published information about the center's programs, activities, personnel, and important links. Here you'll find both current and back issues of the center's newsletters - Blood Type (for physicians) and the IHTC News (for patients and their families). The IHTC Guidelines for Emergency Care for Patients With Hemophilia are available on-line at www.HemophiliaEmergencyCare.com by clicking on "get factor dosage guidelines" and selecting "Indiana" in the state box..
Also on hand are Adobe Acrobat PDF files of our medical awareness poster series specifically designed for a healthcare professionals audience. The poster subjects are emergency care of patients with hemophilia, women with bleeding disorders, and sickle cell disease. Poster ordering information is provided as well. In addition, background and ordering information are posted for A Physician's Primer on Hemophilia and Other Bleeding Disorders: An Interactive CD-ROM Medical Resource (CME credit available). We've also included a list of staff publishing activities. And for those in the media, here's where you'll find news releases promoting coverage of stories pertaining to blood disorders and the patient communities served.
All media inquiries should be directed to the IHTC executive director at 317.871.0011, ext. 207 or toll free at 877.CLOTTER.
