Sickle SAFE team

IHTC’s Sickle SAFE Team is a group of educators who assist families across the state of Indiana with who have been identified through newborn sickle cell screenings. Depending on your baby’s condition, we may recommend beginning treatment at birth.

Our educators make home visits to be sure you have the education, medications, and ongoing care that you need to protect your child’s health.
