Kevin W. Betz has more than 30 years of trial work experience securing several ground-breaking verdicts in jury trials with novel claims. Mr. Betz has earned recognition as a national Board Certified Trial Attorney.  Mr. Betz served for two years as a law clerk for the Chief Justice of the Indiana Supreme Court, practiced for five years in the litigation department at Krieg DeVault, LLP, was appointed to serve as Chief Legal Counsel for the Indiana Department of Environmental Management, and subsequently founded his own law firm, Betz + Blevins.

Mr. Betz earned his undergraduate degrees in journalism and political science from Indiana University. He also earned a master’s degree in journalism from Northwestern University before attending law school at Indiana University – Bloomington.

In addition to serving as board member for the IHTC since its founding in 1998, Mr. Betz serves as a member of the IHTC Compensation Committee.
