Jennifer Rhodes has over 20 years of experience working, primarily, with earlier stage technology and life science companies.  From 1998-2008, she was a corporate transactional lawyer with Ice Miller, LLP, based in Indianapolis, IN, where she primarily focused in the areas of private equity and venture financing, merger and acquisition, and general corporate governance.  In 2008, Ms. Rhodes joined, as Executive Director and General Counsel, a group of affiliated medical device companies. During this time, she helped raise significant private financing and secure a number of state and federal grants for the advancement of several different cardiovascular devices.  She also assisted with the design, implementation and management of several clinical studies and innumerable preclinical studies, frequently interacting with the FDA.  Ms. Rhodes returned as a Partner with Ice Miller in 2018 to continue her work in these areas.   

Ms. Rhodes received her B.S. in business from Indiana University’s Kelly School of Business and her Juris Doctor degree from Indiana University School of Law – Bloomington.  She is currently a non-practicing CPA.

Ms. Rhodes has a passion for children’s welfare and education and breaking cycles of poverty, and has previously served on the Boards of Directors of Safe Families for Children and School on Wheels.

Ms. Rhodes serves as member of the IHTC Board of Directors and is a member of the IHTC Finance Committee.
