Clotting Factor Replacement Therapy
If you or your child has moderate or severe hemophilia (and in some cases mild hemophilia), your hemophilia can be managed with the infusion of clotting factor concentrate or “factor” to replace the FVIII or FIX protein that is missing from your or your child’s blood. This is called clotting factor replacement therapy.
