IHTC staff recently traveled to Ann Arbor, Michigan for the CureHHT Patient and Physician Conference, which brought together more than 100 patients, family members, physicians and healthcare professionals from the around the Midwest and as far as California and Washington. It was a great opportunity to talk with patients and network with colleagues, get educated on recommended treatment options, and learn about the latest research developments in HHT (hereditary hemorrhagic telangiectasia).

CureHHT recently helped develop a patient centered app that allows patients to track nosebleeds and other symptoms easily and promotes more efficient and effective sharing of that information with their physician.

CureHHT’s efforts to raise awareness and research funding have great potential to improve access to care and lead to advancements in treatments. In comparison to other diseases with similar prevalence, HHT research is greatly underfunded. In an effort to help CureHHT raise awareness and research resources, IHTC is participating in the 50 State Challenge. Please share this effort with family, neighbors, and friends.
