Indiana Hemophilia & Thrombosis Center Statement on Georgia Mass Shooting, anti-Asian violence

The IHTC mourns the loss of innocent lives due to racially motivated violence in our country. Last week’s shooting incidents in Georgia underscore the increasing and underreported hate-related crimes against people of Asian descent in the United States.

Members of the Asian American and Pacific Islander communities are fearful; the IHTC community is diverse and includes Asian Americans/Pacific Islanders as patients and staff members whom we hold dear. The IHTC stands with members of these communities and denounces all forms of hate and racism against members of Asian American communities.

Reach out to all members of communities who have experienced these issues to ask how they are doing and offer support.
