Update: Indiana COVID-19 Vaccine Eligibility

Dear IHTC Patients & Families:

As of February 23, 2020, Indiana residents age 60 or older are eligible to register to receive the COVID-19 vaccine through the state’s website: www.ourshot.in.gov.

Long-term care residents, first responders and healthcare workers who have in-person contact with patients or infectious materials in healthcare settings are also eligible for the vaccine.

To register:

Visit www.ourshot.in.gov.

Under the “Who is eligible to receive the vaccine?” there is a list of criteria. If you answer yes to any of the questions, a link is available to register for the vaccine.

Difficulty registering?

If you have difficulty registering to receive the COVID-19 vaccine or know someone who doesn’t have access to a computer who is also eligible, simply call 2-1-1 from any phone to register.

COVID-19 vaccine supply is limited and registration systems are experiencing busy times. Please be patient, and if you encounter delays, try again later. Do not visit a vaccination site without an appointment. These sites are not able to offer walk-in vaccinations without a scheduled appointment.

Although news of the COVID-19 vaccine rollout is optimistic, it will be several months before everyone has access to the vaccine. In the meantime, it is important for all of us to continue maintaining social distancing, hand hygiene, mask-wearing, and staying home when sick.

IHTC will continue to monitor the situation, and our staff is available if you have any questions or concerns.
