The Indiana Hemophilia & Thrombosis Center (IHTC) offers a convenient way to access care from the comfort of your home via Telehealth—a secure virtual healthcare visit with your provider.

Visit the IHTC from the comfort of your home

IHTC is pleased to offer Telehealth for patients. Telehealth visits are over the web—a convenient option for our patients who live far from our Indianapolis office or have difficulty traveling. This is also a great option for anyone concerned about risk of exposure to the flu or other respiratory viruses; Telehealth has become an important way to meet your needs especially during the COVID-19 pandemic.

How to use GOtomeeting for telehealth

Our healthcare team uses the system “GoToMeeting” to conduct secure Telehealth visits with our patients; the system can be used via any of the following:

GoToMeeting is HIPAA-compliant and easy to use. IHTC will contact you 15 minutes prior to your appointment and provide instructions for how to access your GoToMeeting Telehealth visit. If you are planning on using a smartphone or tablet, you can download the app ahead of time or plan to download the app when contacted for your Telehealth visit. If you are using a computer, then you will be provided with a link to access the meeting. Please ensure that your device is equipped with both audio and video as both will be used during the Telehealth visit.

You won’t need to create an account or remember a password. At the time of your appointment, simply click the “join my meeting” link and enter the access code from the IHTC message. Once the meeting has started, you will then be connected with your provider for your scheduled appointment.
