Phillip E. Himelstein is a founder and director of The Sage Group, LLC, a Los Angeles based investment bank that provides corporate finance services to premium branded consumer and retail companies. He is also a principal in more than a dozen investment partnerships focused in the real estate, health care and insurance service industries. Mr. Himelstein graduated Summa Cum Laude from Miami of Ohio with a B.A. in Economics and received his LLB from Harvard Law School in 1975. Mr. Himelstein practiced law with the law firm of Cox Castle & Nicholson in Los Angeles from 1975 to 1992.

In 1998, Mr. Himelstein co-founded University High School, an independent college preparatory high school in Indianapolis, and is currently an emeritus director. In addition, Mr. Himelstein serves as Chairman of the Board of the California Medical Innovations Institute, a nonprofit focused on developing diagnostic and therapeutic tools to treat vascular disease, heart failure and metabolic disorders.

In addition to serving as Chairman of the Board for the Indiana Hemophilia & Thrombosis Center (IHTC), Mr. Himelstein serves as Chairman of the IHTC Executive Committee.
