Supporting You and Your Family

At the Indiana Hemophilia and Thrombosis Center (IHTC), our nurses have advanced experience in treating adults and children with blood disorders.

Triage and Care Coordination

When you or your child has a blood disorder, critical issues can’t always wait for scheduled appointments. That’s why IHTC nurses offer triage by phone. Our highly trained nurses answer questions, provide guidance, and help you navigate potential emergencies. If you or your child need a hospital stay, IHTC nurses help coordinate your care.

Patient Education

IHTC nurses are experts in hemophilia, sickle cell disease, thrombosis, and other blood disorders. Our hematology nurses train patients and their families to navigate their conditions confidently.

Counseling Approach

Our friendly approach includes one-on-one counseling. We help you manage your condition, build independence, and get the resources you need in every phase of your treatment. We work as an advocate for you and/or your child.

Statewide Coverage

With nursing staff stationed around the state offering many outreach clinics, you can get the care you need no matter where you live. You always have access to your IHTC nurse—in person, by phone, and via your patient portal.
